Our care staff are the backbone of life here at Cleeve Hill Nursing Home. We have an excellent combination of staff who have been with us for many years coupled with fresh faces; all of whom are highly trained, committed and entirely focused on the needs of our residents. Elaine has been with the nursing home since 1994 and has seen many changes all for the better. Elaine was one of three Senior Care assistants before her promotion in 2004 to Principal Carer. She sees her role as assisting the management team delivering an excellent total package of care to our residents.

Elaine deals with the induction of all our new carers as they join our team ensuring that her own high standards are pursued by all.  She ensures that the key worker system is implemented so that every resident is assigned their own Care Assistant  - this person is responsible for liaising with families, helping to make purchases and generally assisting with daily living here at the Nursing Home.  In addition, she supports all the other team members within the home.

Every day is different for Elaine; she always promotes the independence of the resident in every way possible, and by doing this, her aims are achieved.

Your health is our primary concern so we provide tailored healthcare which is regularly reviewed with your involvement and the participation of your family, your GP and our fully trained care team.

A Nurse Call System operates throughout the building so you are safe in the knowledge that someone will come immediately to your aid.
